The story About

The idea of DaFé collection was born from the study of ancient weaving methods and patterns in collaboration with the company Ghodrati Rug. The name DaFé comes from a tool used in rug weaving, which is used to tap the carpet to strengthen its knots. The experience of many generations in the field of rug weaving and the knowledge of the patterns and methods of the different regions where this craft originated, have contributed to the creation of this unique handmade collection.

Designer

Golnaz Salehi, architect and designer, received her PhD in interior design from the University of Milan in 2014. In the same year, she founded the Dafe Rug collection.

Her passion for design is evident in every piece she designs, and her dedication to quality ensures that each item is crafted to perfection. She has a profound understanding of how to design products that not only look beautiful but also satisfy the needs of customers, thanks to her extensive experience working on architectural projects and designing furniture.

Vision

The DaFé collection is the result of a different approach to carpets as complementary components of interior design. The essential harmonizing function is a crucial aspect of our design philosophy.
